Using the Drop Down Menus

There are a couple of considerations when using the drop down menus - these mainly occur when using Internet Explorer.

1. You may hear a beep and receive the following message across the top of your browser screen.  This is saying that Internet Explorer has stopped the menu from working as part of its security.  To turn the menu functionality on, right click this menu at the top of the screen and choose Allow Scripting.

2. When selecting a Microsoft Office File from the Curricula, SLO and CID areas, Internet Explorer may try to block the file from downloading.  If so, there will be a message across the top of the screen declaring this.  Simply click this error message and choose download file to continue.  You may have to select a different item in the menu, cancel it, then reselect the original one.  This should only occur once during your visit.

3. If you select an item from the menu, then cancel the file download, and now wish to download the same file again, there is a small procedure.  You will need to select a different item first--which you can cancel--then return to the first item and download it again. This is due to the menus not sending their choice until changed.
